Winter Bird Sweater
Art by Susan Blair, published by RubberStampMadness
Kaspareks Bird Sweater rubber stamp appears in the May/June 2007 (#153) issue of RubberStampMadness
. RubberStampMadness offers stamping tips and techniques for all levels in its magazine and also online.
The Bird Sweater design became the centerpiece of this wintry image by Susan Blair of Tulsa, Oklahoma. We've admired Susan's artwork for years, and "Winter Bird Sweater" is an excellent example of her mixed media artwork. Susan also used a Kaspareks image, a limited edition block print, for her "Match Book Box."
Yarn Art Cards
Art by Kaspareks
These three-dimensional yarn cards are 2½ x 3½ inches. In the vertical card, the yarn ball ornaments were stamped on watercolor paper using Kaspareks Small Yarn Ball rubber stamp, embossed with fine, clear embossing powder, and cut out. The larger yarn ball cutout is from a Kaspareks Unraveled, in Green knitting note card.

The peapod art card used six separate stamped images of Kaspareks Yarn Peas in a Pod art rubber stamp in various colors of stamping ink and embossing powder on watercolor paper. The background is wedge-shaped: it has greater depth on the right side and less on the left.
